A Sound Mind dwells in a Sound Body is a short but full description of a happy state in this world. Yoga is one of the means through which it can be attained. So we have introduced Yoga in the School curriculum. Yoga not only enhances your physical strength but also contributes largely towards your mental health and spiritual growth. On eve of the International Yoga Day, St. Charles School Hatia, successfully held the event at the School Premises. School Yoga trainer guided all participants, including Teachers and Students, to perform Yoga Assanas with ease.
The Day was celebrated with lot of Patriotism and fervor. Rev. Sr. Sebasti, Provincial Superior of the Srs. of St. Charles hoisted the National Flag. Sr. Lucy delivered the message. She called upon the students to treat and respect every one as human beings in order to experience true freedom. The day was marked with colorful parade and march fast. The Student's love for the country was expressed through a lively cultural programme. The ICSE and Class Toppers as well the Best Students of the year 2017-18 were awarded on this occasion.
Vaccination is another form of keeping our children healthy, especially when they are in school or daycare center. They are exposed to all kinds of illnesses and diseases. It was held on 30th July 2018.
The Investiture Ceremony is a prestigious event in every School's calendar wherein the School formally entrusts responsibilities on the young leaders to discharge their duties honestly, sincerely and to the best of their ability. The Student Council also promises to take the School to newer heights and resplendence.
In words of one of the Sanskrit Shlokas-,
"A person grows : One forth because of the teacher, another fourth from own intelligence, next fourth from surrounding and the rest fourth only with time."
I am confident to say that St. Charles School, Hesag facilitates a conducive environment where effective learning takes place. We allow students to explore themselves with a dedicated accompaniment of their teachers and become aware of their potential.
